'Nutta,
Do you mind shooting a pic of this switch in the mirror you installed? Also some details on how it was done? I myself have got a GermanLook project in my back garden, and suicide doors was on the list even before I picked the car up!! I think a GL with s.doors is a bit of a twist and will ROCK!  *edit* Also, 'Popper doors' was on my list too. Hopefully the Audi at my work that is going to be scrapped have central locking... I might be able to do something with that too...
