Knoxville VW Expo July 22-23

I'm at the Knoxville VW Expo. I'm not sure why nothing was posted about it. Laz told me it was on Shoptalkforums. However, I don't get on shoptalkforums very much. I snaped some pictures. I'll get them posted in the next few days, I left the camera at the show in a car.

I saw a few people from Georgia here. I was wondering why no more of the VKG made it. I guess I'll have to check STF, wait for an answer here, or call and ask.

I got a flyer in the mail about it, but had other plans already. Maybe next year.

i was there repersenting the GL scene. there was also another GL there.i dont know the guy but the car was pretty nice.i was too busy defending against the resto-custom onslaught from the BKC.all things being said it was a nice show,a great hang with nice cars, and possibly the greatest parking lot party ever. btw im not the only one who thought this some of the more seasoned vets of parking lot parties thought the same.

Look at that. This is why I should have posted something about that show. I'm going to post something about the next shows I'm attending. Unless someone does first. I'm just not sure on the dates yet. Did you see 2 splits and a oval? There was a white tent next to them. I was hanging around that most of saturday. I was walking around more sunday. I asked you about the show, you said you weren't sure.

Laz, yes you were there. I forgot to mention that in my post. I met the guy with the blue super. Sadly, I can't remember his name. I'm bad with names. I tried to talk him into joining the club, and the forums. I'm all out of bussiness cards, so I couldn't give him one. But he said he had one put in his window at another show.

There was also a water-conversion there. A honda powered sand rail. I didn't get any pictures. It looked like a clean install. I even rode in it, it's quick.

That's cool wrench, I was just wondering why I didn't see more people there from the VKG. I honestly didn't know who was going and who wasn't. It was a guessing game really. If I knew who was going I'd look out for them. I found Laz's car and only knew him from his Germanlook.com shirt. Since I hadn't met him before.

Pictures in a few minutes...

The Germanlook Laz mentioned in his reply. Solid car except for the hood. He told me his sister backed into it.

A nice clean Ghia. Looks like honda bolt pattern wheels.

Laz's ride, looks even better in person.

Hood rides were also there. There were more than just these two. I'm a pretty lazy picture taker.

And last but not least. BKC cars were parked next to the pond for some posing shots. So I snapped a few too.

I know, I should have taken more pictures. I pretty much took pictures of what caught my eye. A few other other things caught my eye, but I didn't have my camera. And the girls wouldn't stop moving long enough.
