Torsion bar

I pushed some wrong buttons before I was ready to send the last message. But here I try again. I put a list together, with what I found availably torsion bars.... Lenght and number of splines
Hi again
I found that the lenght should be 676mm. Inner splines 40 and gives a change of 9 degrees Outer splinses 44 and gives a change of 8º 10,5’. |

Zen, I'm running the 944 25.5mm torsion bars which were a good mix of track and street. It's on the tight side for street use but if you autox, hit track days, or frequently drive winding roads the setup is perfect. It never had any problem with my type 4 hanging off the back.

I had the same question so I made a shot in the dark. I just put Sway-A-Way 28mm's on thinking they would be super stiff. (aircooled.net) I autocross so I was willing to sacrifice some comfort. No comfort lost. The car now feels solid & firm, no harshness at all. Red Koni's too, on second setting. Magic Carpet. I'm kicking it at the autocross now too. Just what the doktor ordered.
