Sorry to hear about your loss Pete . I watched your bug on the Dyno in GA last march, and on the track at Silverdollar Race the next day.

Aw man! that blows, it always sucks when that happens (and I know ).

you could drop your stocker into it and sell it, but then we cant call you "orange peter" anymore.

Ouch ... sorry to hear about the motor Pete. That sucks. Perhaps this is a sign to get that turbo sucker together and running. The turbo has effortless power and is not revving to make it go.

Wanna buy my turbo efi dry sumpped engine complete? 8k for everything, I'm going with a 911 6 cylinder in the ghia next spring.

Thanks guys,

I'll stick the stocker in it and keep it. It was my first car, and i can't let it go that easily. I wonder what it will feel like with 50HP again? Bright side is, it can once again become my daily driver. Bryan, thanks for the offer, but i can't do it. This motor will be torn down, and parted out. I'll get a few "trophy" parts out of it to toss on the shelf.

I'll be in the garage this weekend working on the split.
