				Cleaning the inside of chasis

Hello all recently got my new frame head to convert a superbeetle chasis to a standard chasis. Can anyone tell me the best way to clean the inside of my chasis so that i can paint it.

Unfortunately, the only method I know of is to have it chemically dipped/stripped.

Due to the confines and the fact that it is several feet long, reaching your hand with a solvent soaked rag inside to clean isn't a good option. Or...get a bunch of Smurfs with flashlights and mini power-washers! (Did I just show how cronologically advanced I am with the Smurf thing??)

I was thinking about a power washer with a degreaser as fluids to remove oils.

Drill out spot welds on the bottom plate, remove clean spray, weld shut, only way i can see that would work properly so you can cover the inside of the tunnel with paint again, hope that helps

I just washed mine through all the available holes with the pressure washer. then sprayed the rust paint inside. It covered quite well and looks pretty good.
