Wally:
These do noy use any baseplate, and only locates over the velocity stacks? Looks like this is going to be the best choice for me. ps: there are many diameters of velocity stacks? Do you know what combination of filter/stacks you had? |

yep, no base plates; the foam is very strong, yet very plyable (sp?) so it will just stretch over most any width opening of stacks. They are mostly used by guys using EFI with DCOE stacks, but they will fit most everything and if not, you just carve them up a bit wider with a scissor
My stacks are 40mm high btw and I made two small extra holes (yes, with the scissors) for the tops on the emulsion tubes with the air correction jets. Good luck, Walter |

Noone that can mesaure the CB`s for me?
Also: wondering about making my own central airbox system. Looking at the price of the CSP one, I shoul be able to use some hours ![]() Using the old arfilters or turbo air boxes as a frame for the carb-houses, and an old 1600 central housing for central frame and then only some ducting would be needed. All would be made in fiberglass But: how much would this affect airflow? Would this impose restrictions on this? And Wally: guess the 411 dont have problem of water coming into the carbs? That is one of the reasons I would love a central box/CB filters and not just foam. |

No, no problems with water.
