My fuel gauge is off a bit. It is empty when the gauge reads 1/4 tank(on the 914 combo gauge). Mine wired up like the VW fuel gauge. The light at the top is for the parking brake I think. It is red and I wired it as a second oil pressure light. The speedo should be direct drive but it will only be accurate with the same size tire as the 914.
