No updates as of yet, I had everything lined up to start with the ABS vac forming, then my wife needed some help with her medical practice. She makes the big money, I'm just a stay at home dad doing hobby-work.

We're on hold til further notice for this spoiler, but, I'll have updates, so be patient and check back with me.

Thanks.

Dont you hate it when folks quote themselves from other forums?
This is from a thread/post on STF, I knew I measured it at one time or another.

It's important to note that I believe the width is for stock ACVW super or standard. I'm unsure of the fitment for widened fenders. I'll have to measure the Ronal's width again to be sure, as I cant find my notes on it. The hardware notes I made were with that also. I was hoping to include the mounting hardware with the spoiler. AARRGGHH. Missing notes suck.

To answer your question, I was planning on an exact repro, mods to be attempted at the purchaser's whims. Keeps things simple on my end.

More info -

Measures 56.25" wide by 9" tall. It has a Ronal sticker on it, But I'm unsure as to it actually being a Ronal as they havent made any aerodynamics for years, at least for ACVW's. However, the sticker's placement matches the photos I've seen of some older BMW Ronal front airdams from the 70's and 80's.

The serial tag rivited on the bottom reads

Hersteller : Karl Wirth GmbH
Typ : VW 03.1
Serien Nr : 09091
KBA Nr : 35093

I did a google on Karl Wirth GmbH, didnt really find anything, except a vague reference to Karl Rapp, and Karl Joseph Wirth who were employees of Flugwerk Deutschland GmbH. Karl Rapp and Julius Auspitzer went on to establish Karl Rapp Motorenwerke GmbH in 1913, the company which would be renamed later as Bayerische Motoren Werke GmbH ( BMW ). Karl Joseph Wirth was also the German Chancellor of Germany from 1921 to 1922.

Neat stuff, although it has nothing to do with the spoiler. Sorry for the history.

No date set yet on when I'll have the spoiler ready. Still on hold. I'll keep you posted.

UPDATE !!!

I'm gonna sell it. Tired of things not working out, suppliers not coming through with promises.

So,,,,,, I have a Ronal front spoiler for sale. There is no mounting hardware, as there was none when I got it. $300 plus shipping.
