The wheelbase of the 944 and vw are the same at 2400mm but the wheel track is 200mm less for the vw. This means the ackerman steering angle comes up short.
If you are widening the body at the same time its not a problem. If you go 100mm wider each side your car will be idential to a 944. Problem solved.

Cheers, I dont know if i can make it that much wider but we'll see. I dont like the idea of bending steering components.
