Wig-Wag Flashers, Positive or Ground Switch?
I am installing a Wig-Wag Flasher system to my bright lights. To determing the correct install procedure, I need to know if the Hi-beams on a 1963 beetle are positive or ground side switched???
Thanks in advance.

well I can't understand exactly what you're asking, but everything on a bug is positive side switched as far as I know... You mean the switch for turning it on and off is on the positive (hot) wire, wile the ground cable is always connected to the chassis right?
It would be kinda crazy to do it the other way around, keeping the positive cable connected and hot all the time, and switching the ground cable on and off. If you're not sure, just follow the ground cable starting at the headlight, and it's gonna end inside the trunk, grounded to the metal. No switch there

Wig Wag Flashers
The bright lights alternate flash on and off. A lot of Police cars have wig-wag bright lights, show cars, parade vehicles, etc. Im not talking about strobe lights, this is when the cars Hi-beam takes turns flashing.
Crazy name but that's what they are called. Google Wig Wag Flashers, tons of info. I use them to get slow movers out of the fast lane on the highway. They work extremely better the just hitting the bright lights. Thanks I made the order.
