Past Hot VWs Issue
Does anybody know what issue of hot vws featured a flat black beetle with a roof scoop and hood with gauges molded in? I'm pretty sure it was a few years back. I know it's a vague description and it's not likely that anybody remembers, but I wanted to give it a shot because it was my favorite issue, but it was somehow misplaced. Thanks

I've had a subscription since 1988
 ,and I don't remember seeing it. Was it a feature car? You sure it wasn't in VW Trends before they stopped print?

Hm, it's possible that it was VW Trends, I was just thinking Hot VW's for some reason. Unfortunately I can't remember any more details either.
 It was one of the featured cars I'm pretty sure. Those were the few things I can remember. I know it was definately within the last 10 years, probably within the last 5, whichever magazine it was
