Ok, so I found out this.
Many uses the 914 discs, and machining down an old drum from the Beetle to work as a hub for it. The calipers are usually Golf, Passat etc, and some custom bracket made up. So the conclusion probably is that 914 is more difficult than 924; but how does these parts fit on a swing-axle? Same brake ratio?
