After I painted the inside and bottom of the channel, I sprayed antirust on it and some inox spray on the welding areas. Now it was time to fit it in it's new position..
I placed the channel 1/2 an inch backwards on the bottomplate.  Back fits like a glove now.   The firewall can be mounted without a problem  Paul
