Some comments
- if ur running the beetle shift rod then u have the following option: Cut and graft on the back end of the Porsche shift rod and that enable u to use porsche or after market shifter coupling Or csp shift rod shorting kit on a beetle shif rod and use the vw coupler and some new bushings. These are the more simpler options. There are others that are a function of creativity and what's available. If u are using already a Porsche shifter then the easier route is to use the Porsche shift rod (have a goodbused one if need) and mate to Porsche coupler. Can't remember the length difference and how much has to be shortened or extended. Alex

Although i replaced by shiftrod bushings for delrin replacements, i'm having some brass replacements made to tighten up the coupling. I'l be selling these assuming all goes well
