The money pit!

I feel like a chump!

Two Porsche bolts = $60.90 USD!

Well they are very specialized eccentric bolts for the control arms, but still jesss o flip!

Just got the gas tank "unpainted"/acid dipped = 50
tank sealer = 25
AN fuel lines = 80ish

Weld oil cooler brackets (AL weld which I cannot do) = 50

Oh the horror!!!!

This is a small example of the $... The motor stuff I ordered in the last week is another nightmare of over $700! ARG!

Just venting, but I am just so impatient... Man I want to be done already!

GLF!,

Pillow, I know its very frustrating at time. Hang in there buddy

What even more frustrating is paying someone top dollar to do quality work and having to go back there multiplie times to get it done right.

One arm in!

The wheels fit as well, which as some of you know was a big concern for me. Granted for a splittie the 15x7 52.3 offset is about all it will take with a 205/65R15 tire. Actually you can go back deeper just not outwards as the tire would rub the fender.

Need to come up with an e-brake solution here quick though...

Also the darn expensive bolts are wrong after all!!! They are for a late 944 AL arms not the early steal ones. Back to the store!

A good day though. Zen let me know if you need a hand one day!

And a tranny in!

Now I slow down until I can think of a few solutions.
