944 brakes on non-super bug
Hi!
I need brakes with more power in mye bug. I put a golf gti engine in it, with 2*40mm weber dcoe's. I was thinking of buying a kerscher kit, but as the 944 turbos would give me even more stopping power at a lower price, I'm considering these. On the rear I'm going to convert to irs, so I'll just use 944 trailing arms which as I understand will be bolt on, but up front is where the problem lies. As the supers have struts, I'm guessing the spindles will be different, so the tech-tutorial on the front page does not apply? As my 1500 already has discs up front, I considered getting someone to make an adapter to attach the porsche calipers, but what about the discs and such? Any comments are appreciated! |
