Arrow type 1 performance heads

which heads are better?
cb 44's or mofoco 42's?
both are priced the same and both claim to have the best casting and design.
does anyone had bad expiriance with any of them?
so,what do you say?

I have heard good and bad about both. But you never know what the whole set up was for any of them. If the combo isn't right, it might be eazy to blame it on the heads.

All i can say is that i have only seen CB performance heads in person, they are of great quality. Never seen Mofoco, but from what i have read "stay away from them".

I am going go get some CB performance heads, not sure what ones yet... but im really looking at there CNC ported line.

Later,
Jonathan

I have had nothing but bad luck with anything associated with MOFOCO! Right down to buying a shortblock from them that had a connecting rod that they left 1/2 of a bearing shell out of and one rod that was installed upside down. I can't imagine the workmanship that goes into setting up the spring tension and valve height on their heads.
Everyone I have talked to has had many of the same problems.

I liked the CB 044's I ran except the SS valves they use are made in China and I had one end up going through a intake manifold. I recommend buying bare castings and build up yourself, or swapping the valves out with some quality SS or Ti ones.
