carb questions

[poor boy]

i'm new to the T4 scene. i am researching building a T4 motor and have a case. from what i've read i want to go in the direction of a 2.1-2.3 T4 motor. i am currently driving an 1835 T1 motor and am in need of new carburetion; which leads to my question(s):

is there a single carb set up i can use on my T1 1835 until i switch over to my T4 motor when it is completed? what is it? any suggestions would be great! thanks!
