For bumpstops go with the vw/audi marshmellow bumpstops. they are a favorite of racers because of their progressive nature. You can trip them down as needed.

I like the design of the german pump, looks pretty stout. I'm guessing you have to use a 5" power pulley with this pump? It doesn't look like a larger pulley would clear the pump even with a spacer.

I didn't build this motor, I bought it used but when I drained the oil it looked like regular motor oil. I'm guessing it was a combination of valve spring and wrong oil.
