Rich, that's the main reason i have gone for them. Same reason i went for the 993 targa wheels on my bug - rather unsual on VWs! I am sick to the back teeth of seeing the same old wheels on...

Steve, i went K&L for the amount of travel they give compared to a balljoint. I had to get the chassis rail on the beam and balljoints would lock out before that unless i raised the beam even higher....

I have been running through gearbox/engine ideas in my head. I initially thought a 915 box would be ideal as it is one of my favourite modifications in my beetle...it makes it so much...

On the front I was considering using late 944 front hubs that run outboard discs, 996 Turbo front...

Although i replaced by shiftrod bushings for delrin replacements, i'm having some brass replacements made to tighten up the coupling. I'l be selling these assuming all goes well :)
